I am an artist living in Greenbelt, Maryland. I attended Parsons School of Design and the University of Maryland. I create sculptural boxes, drawings and paintings. My artwork is an attempt to make sense of the world.

The boxes are cardboard with a sculptural element inside. Often the sides are painted and drawn on. Wire goes through the box and crosses over the sculptural element.

The drawings and paintings represent a process of building-up paint, ink, pencil, and gesso, while also cutting, rearranging and layering the materials.

The boxes, drawings and paintings express a sense of confinement and escape.
